Open Access Policy & License

Open Access Policy

Vandana Publications and their journal IJEMR is committed to information sharing and transparency. We believe that published research resulting from our funding should be promptly and broadly disseminated. We have adopted an Open Access policy that enables the unrestricted access and reuse of all peer-reviewed published research funded, in whole or in part, by the publications, including any underlying data sets.

IJEMR journal content is publicly available immediately after publication. To accommodate authors who need to comply with specific funding mandates, IJEMR journal provide two routes to open access (OA) publication: gold OA and green OA. Authors who request gold OA publication must pay an article processing charge (APC) of Rs. 1,500/- or USD $60 at the time of final acceptance of their submission. Author(s) may withdraw their article at any time prior to acceptance without incurring an APC. After acceptance, withdrawal will not be permitted and a refund will not be given. Any special consideration will be at the discretion of the Editor and Publisher.

Requests for both gold and green OA publication must be made at the time of submission. For the gold option, on payment of the APC the final, peer reviewed, copyedited work will be made freely available on the journal Web site. Works published under the green OA option will be subject to a two-month embargo from the date of final publication; thereafter, the final, peer reviewed, copyedited work will be made freely available on the journal Web site.

IJEMR does not retain copyright to works published under the IJEMR OA Policy. Unless specified by the corresponding author, gold OA works will instead be published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY) , which allows users to share and adapt the authors’ work as long as appropriate credit is given to the creator of the work. Green OA works will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerical-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND) , which allows users to share the authors’ work as long as appropriate credit is given to the creator of the work; the material is not used for commercial purposes; and the material is not remixed, transformed, or built upon by the user.

Note that, for those authors whose work was supported financially by their institution / university / college, the final version of the article will be made freely available at the conclusion of a two-month embargo from the date of final publication.

Works submitted under the OA policy are treated the same as those submitted under the traditional subscription model: There are no differences in the peer review, editorial, and production processes.
